Piano Tuning
Professional Service
There are approximately 200 strings in a piano, all different lengths and thicknesses. These slight changes of tension will affect each one differently. The most important factor for tuning stability is regular piano tuning. If your piano is tuned twice a year or more, the string tension will be a lot more stable throughout the year and it will go out of tune a lot less between tunings.

Over time, pianos will naturally develop some mechanical issues. These issues can generally be corrected but before any work can commence, the instrument must be assessed with various options then provided. Attention to Detail
The inner workings of the piano is known as the action. It has amazingly complex and sensitive mechanics and like any other machine, it needs to operate to its full potential. A common characteristic of a piano in need of regulation is an increased difficulty to play it evenly as some keys seem lighter or heavier than others. A number of adjustments within the piano’s action can be made to improve the responsiveness of the piano.
